Just been sending off the Wrexham press release to a couple of guys I know. Anyway, it got me thinking.

(playing Devil's Advocate)

With millions dieing in Africa should we all be pumping money into saving a football club? Are there more important things?

Heaven help us if NSC starts thinking. We can't solve all the world's problems. Not this week anyway.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

Quite. It follows on from OTLW's thread of last week as to on November 11th why we don't remember the Rwanda victims or those killed by Pol Pot or by Stalin or by Mao during the Cultural Revolution. The answer is because there is a time and a place for everything. November 11th is for our war dead, next Saturday is for Wrexham. Solving Africa's problems is another struggle entirely.

Perhaps we should send some of the 40 notes fund money to Africa.

What he said - We'd be in a bit of a state if only the most important problem in the world received our attention - nothing like a bit of multi-tasking.
