It was a brilliant day - well done everyone, especially the NSC organisers who got it going. It was great being able to help the Plymouth lot get an atmosphere going and it does look as though this weekend may have been the turning point for them. I wanted to stay afterwards but had to drive home and didn't need alcolholic temptation . The silver lining on the absolute pisser of having to miss Leeds cos I had a gig in St Ives: was surreal watching the first half via a dodgy Al Jazeera satellite in a local pub, commentator sounded like Gaddafi..updates during my set..came off stage thinking we'd won 3-2..bollocks

Mum told me Jeff Stelling mentioned it on sky. Seems they were better at covering it than the beeb.

Ahh good old mr stelling, he can always be relied on, real football man. God I miss soccer Saturday and midweek programme since they took it off freeview.
