Whatever, I just hate it when a thread descends into everyone picking on someone - especially when its for no obvious reason at all like this one. Yes they're adults, yes they really should just turn it off and go away and get on with their life, but it still leaves a sour taste in the mouth. I'm struggling to see whats unbelievable about this thread, we know this guy got banned, we know he cares for his Dad who has dementia, we also know that he's not the only person wondering about the direction the club is going in. I've never understood the point of a wind-up so I've never really bothered to contemplate too deeply whether a thread is one or not

But anyway carry on, lets have yet another thread of childish jokes, anti-Palace 'banter' and occasional insults, not enough of those at the moment. Maybe I just got out of the 'serious' side of bed...

Seems NSC is a bit rough for you, perhaps the W.I., or the Methodists would be more suitable for you?

The crux of the matter is that no true BHA fan would ever choose to watch their fiercest rivals, let alone buy a ST.

You are either fishing, attention seeking or a complete bellend!

Maybe he really wants to see Bridcutt play next season. Anyone thought of that?

He won't be playing for you unless you substatially increase your insulting 1.5 million pound offer.

Can we trade you Belly and his Dad and take el_p and a Palace leaning mod of your choice? Titanic maybe?

I'm beginning to think that the poster called Palace Man (child) is not in fact a season ticket holder at all and only goes to the big games.

Explain how Palace now have 16,000 Season Ticket holders, a few thousand more than last season and despite an average attendance last season of under 20k - took nearly FORTY thousand to Wembley.

I fail to see how you can call us plastics when you clearly have more......

Palace Man ? Palace Boy more like.....

Firstly, the fans had 33,000 tickets, secondly, there was a loophole that allowed non-Palace fans without a booking history to buy a membership and get a ticket. It won't be so easy next season for the big games as you have to buy them on a 1:1 basis with a smaller game. If opposition fans are to get a ticket, then they will need to go to the trouble of buying a £25 membership, and then buy a ticket for their team as long as they support a "big" club, and then a ticket for a smaller game. Believe it or not, there are 20,000 Palace fans out there, and that's what we need to fill the ground.

We certainly don't need help from Brighton fans to fill the ground.

Why did you just remove the line about running to the big boys?

He was banned by Bozza, and his previous thread about the stewards at the Amex was deleted because of his lies. Bozza heard the other side of the story.
There's no reason to suspect that this thread is nothing but a set of lies either.

So cutting to the chase - basically anyone could buy any amount of tickets that they actually wanted. you must wonder how many of those "33k" would actually watch Palace in say - a Championship relegation dogfight, id say under half.

And if there are 20k fans out there, why did you rarely sell out games last season ?

Christ im beginning to sound like The Major - basically you havent got the right to call us plastic anymore. Now run along to your first lesson at school.

Right, so in the interests of research I checked these out. WI don't have a message board as far as I can tell, which is a shame (but I imagine I don't fully meet their entry criteria). I did find the PulseWire Community! Connect with women across the globe to exchange ideas and opportunities that can change our lives. but it seems to be about girl's struggles to go to school in Darfur and the like, bit heavy for me.

Now the Methodists, they like to have a good theological debate on their boards. And I can honestly say from the last ten minutes of my life that I would rather be a Palace fan than a Methodist. All things considered, I'll probably just hang around here for a bit :)

It was deleted because he was putting forward just part of the truth and presenting it as the whole truth. OK, well if everyone's sure he's lying this whole thread is a waste of time anyway.

Guessing you don't remember when Wimbledon shared your ground? That is EXACTLY what people did to get a ticket when the big boys were in town! Shelling out £100+ a ticket isn't a massive amount of money for allot of people in the south east and is still probably cheaper than using a tout (plus you get tickets to another game as well).
