...in the next few days?

What if the players couldn't get back for the Notts County game?

Points dedcution for fielding a weakened team of young pro's and youth players of even a deduction for not fulfuilling a fixture.

Most clubs go to a training camp abroad when they have a free week , after cup elimination etc, not between two fixtures.

It does smack a little like perhaps the players are aleady on hols which will no doubt please Daggers and Walsall no end!

No probs, Lord Bloom would hire a fleet of executive limos to waft the galacticos home in style.

Alternatively you can get back from Spain via the AVE / TGV / Eurostar fairly quickly......unless the volcano bungs up the Eurotunnel too.

Seriously though I hope they are up for it on Saturday otherwise this season could fizzle out on a bit of an anti-climax, would be good for the Champions to go into the summer break with a convincing win. I don't think Martin Allen will let his team just roll over for us. Let's have a win first - then let the squad party and go on their hols with a job well done.

The Championship.
What is the chances that any of those cenarios would happen? Not much. We are not the premiership so the FA really couldn't care if we played a 'weakened' team because it wouldn't get talked about as much and nothing would happen.

If they can't make it back to UK in time. I'll put my name down to play central midfield

That assumes nobody else is travelling... if everyone diverts from air to surface travel, it would be a problem.

Why all the fuss! Let's invent another negative scenario!! They're travelling back tomorrow and yes, they've been in holiday mode since winning at Warsaw ! Blame them ?
