Renewed pressure for a Public Inquiry over the governments handling of Covid-19 but of course the government do NOT want an inquiry while the events are still fresh in everyone's minds.....

“We are focused on protecting the NHS and saving lives and now is not the right time to devote huge amounts of official time to an inquiry,” a government spokesperson said. “There will be an appropriate time in the future to look back, analyse and reflect on all aspects of this global pandemic.”

Obviously waiting for the vaccine " bounce " to continue to increase, the key players in government to leave and take up their Directorships and their Chumocracy to bank their PPE and testing scheme profits and flee the country...

Meanwhile, in the Commons, the Government moves a step closer to criminalising the annoying of politicians and at the same time impose restrictions on free speech

The usual suspects will be along to blame the Right Wing Media who are clearly controlling the population [emoji23]

Starmer gone by the end of the year?

Sorry, missed this earlier ... yes, this fascist Tory dictatorship and their puppets in the media have the lumpenproletariat just where they want them

No, I think he will be there for the next election and replaced after the defeat .... triggering another civil war and fight to the death for the heart and soul of the Labour party.

Amazing the lack of press coverage about this, point 2 in early signs of fascism. A liberal democracy is slowly being dismantled...

Point 3...Brexit is a nutshell

That's right, I see they just passed the protest bill, a good example where the gaslighting and voter apathy that you champion allows them to diminish your rights even further. 3 cheers, hip-hip....

I wonder what theyĺl take away next of your's ? The smart money's on our Free health service

Can you imagine the shit storm though if during this evil dictatorship somehow Boris extends his majority after the Hartlepool bi election?

It would be a big kick in the bollox for Starmer and increase the criticisms of his leadership but I think they will hold it. Probably a low turn out and make it all about 1% NHS pay rise should see them safe.

The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill passed its second reading 359-263 after it was overwhelmingly backed by Tory MPs.

I think the days of lecturing China on human rights are over...

As soon as Johnson got the public to vote him into power on the Brexit lie, he knew he had them. He knew they’d be gullible enough to not question anything he wanted to do. And it bears out on here. Look at the kind of posters championing the Tory party reducing our human rights. All the ones who fall for anti-refugee propaganda, hate free speech (unless it’s their own racist twaddle), mock trans people and non binary people, and accuse anyone who cares about human rights of being a foaming at the mouth, angry, lefty loon. Anything left of Goebbels seems loony to them.

But here the Tory’s are. Selling off surgeries to a US insurance company, banning protest, cutting workers holiday entitlement. And they’ve really kicked it up a gear since we left the EU. Now they don’t have anyone holding them to account, they’re doing exactly what I and others on here predicted. To be fair, they’re doing it a lot quicker and a lot more brazenly than even I thought possible.

And they got people to vote for this. I hope it’s a price worth paying. So far it’s looking like a heavy, heavy price for virtually no return.
