Just got home so here's my thoughts.
Huddersfield were excellent, that's the best performance I've seen against us in a long time, big credit to them. Looking at things through an Albion point of view, it was fairly obvious when the team news came out and Stephens was missing that we were going to lose, we never play well when he is missing, shows how important and such a key player for us. I think CH made he the wrong decision here by choosing Norwood over Sidwell, can understand why with ON playing against a former team and wanting to impress but he wasn't in the game at all.
I don't want to be harsh on players but Bruno effectively took himself out of the game with no less than 15 seconds gone picking up a very stupid yellow card for a very stupid challenge, not the sort of thing you expect from your captain. Knockaert tonight was absolutely awful, I know how much of a key player he is but he doesn't seem to produce the same performances away from home, he was good against Birmingham and brilliant at Wednesday but barring those two games he's been fairly rubbish away from home. I think that March should be starting on the right side in the next couple of away games.
Finally Sam Baldock, how much do we miss him and the runs he makes pulling opposition defenders away so Murray or the wingers can find space. We really need him back. Akpom looked fairly alright for the minutes he came on, looked a bit raw and up for it, I'm hopeful he can get a couple of goals here and there.
Credit to the Huddersfield fans to our right, brilliant all game. Referee also had a good game and got every decision right, at the game it looked harsh on Dunk but my dad phoned me afterwards and said he left his leg in and was a yellow card challenge even though he won the ball.
We move on to Brentford on Sunday, one game at a time.
