My Dad still goes and watches Status Quo every year! Although apparently the recent tour was called off because Rick Parfitt (or however you spell it) has some kind of throat problem (might be cancer even, very serious either way).

Anyway, at the tender age of 22, I think the quo have done some GOOD stuff. The new stuff is shit but the old stuff is really quite likeable.

And they really are a hell of a lot better musicians than they are given credit for.

Quo used to have credibility when they were making good psych records like "The Price of Love" and "In My Chair", but all that boogie-pop-rock shite has revealed them as only-in-it-for-the-money-you-suckers milking-this-shit-for-all-it's-worth businessmen.

Some people obviously stopped trying to find out what else is out there worth listening to.
