Just been in The Nelson

The lady called me a **** and said we're all banned. :(

Not really, she was little offish at first but soon melted after a little of the Safeway charm. Apparently they had problems with some people around the other side of the pub. I said they should have told us, we'd have sorted them out. She politefully declined.

"politefully"? Is that a remark that's polite and graceful at the same time? :)

They must have made a crap load of money out of us!

What was the problem, people complaining? You couldn't really hear anything when at the bar.

My mate works in the Albert. There's regular late-night shenanigans going on in there so it should be alright.
Become pally with the owner and he'll sort you free tickets for every gig in the Concorde.
