thought we started well but after the goal we seemed to lack any real creativity. On another day Wednesday could have had two sent off which in turn could have turned the game our way. I wont comment on individual performances as i was trying to get used who they were and have to admit it was my first game in over twelve months

I thought they were the better side, just. However, the better side doesn't always win and the ref appeared to be at the very least lenient with two red card decisions and our second half penalty appeal.

Overall, the game showed why we need the additional 3 or 4 players. We had no options on the bench likely to change the game (and we would probably have played 4-5-1 but for absentees?).

Most Sheff fans seem to think we will be challenging them towards the end of the season and that we looked good so cant have been that bad!! They also said our fans were brilliant and we had well over 1,000? if so thats decent

Thought we made them work hard for the points and although we created situations in the second half our creativity quite didn't match our attitude, which was excellent. Listening to the Radio Sheffield fan's phone in on the drive back, the majority of callers thought that they were lucky to escape at least one red card. Not too down about the day, we have moved on a long way since this time last season.

This is the kind of away game we would have been turned over 3-0 last season.

Sparrow and Greer to come back. Hopefully a new striker and/or LuaLua. Still pretty upbeat.

il second that, taking 1500 up there is bloody impressive,we took the same to Swindon.
Do you know the actual figure?

On the radio they said we'd travelled well and estimated 500! Coming to think of it they also said we were in good voice contray to the other thread?!?!?!

I agree with Aspinal's Body Double, we had nothing on the bench today. We matched Wednesday until Kish had played the 60 mins that he is capable of playing, but once Kish departed we looked second best. I think that if Sparrow or Navarro had been available we may well have got a point or three from the match. Our back four and keeper played well, although Calderon is not looking as good as last season, our midfield was fine until we had to find a sub or two, Murray was OK but Barnes was poor today. I thought it was a fair result, although it was a match with very very poor officials.

Trouble is the front two never looked threatening at all which is a problem

And there was me thinking our away record was pretty brilliant last season!

We were pretty good today. We won't challenge with the squad we have though.

Ill give wednesday some credit. They chased us down relentlesly and won most 2nd balls. I think without injuries/suspensions we would have played 4-5-1 and perhaps negated that
