I dont have a helicopter, I live in Manchester!

Overall a very good performance, a real good work man like shift from them all.........we looked good going forward and was very impressed with crofts and of course Gary God Dicker in the centre, why slade delayed so long is beyond me!

Davies looked really dangerous for us and hopefully we will sign him permenantly come january.....

As for the back four......absolutely fantastic.....Tunnicliffe is a man mountain and chucked everything in the way....my mom to be honest......a good performance from the other 3 aswell....but tunni stood out for me.

The other thing I was very impressed with was the desire from the players...we really battled and that inludes players like davies & bennett......dont think weve seen the best of bennett yet but am confident he will come good.

As for the front two.....Forster is a legend and you got what you always get from him...110% and his efforts were justified with two well taken striker style goals.......as for dickinson.......for me not a great display....very lazy and would not jump for anything...im of he understanding he set up goal number 2...so not all bad.....

Summing up.....a great effort from the lads.....makes you prud to be an albion fan when you watch the boys put in that much effort....I really believe its starting to happen and come together now.....and fair play to the 200+ support...the voices were well and truly heard!

SEEEEEAAAAGULLS!

337 was the official figure! great support and sounded good on scr!
How was el abd? sounded like he had a very good game from the bits and pieces i listened too. Davies, from what i saw last week seems to be a very direct winger much alike bennet which is i think what we really needed, and it sounded like him and bennet put 110% to help out at the back too.
Top performance today from both fans and players!

Was the ref really that bad? Was there a good shout for two pens?

Yeah the support was superb!

Im not an El Abd fan...but he was superb today...he looked very setled...the odd moment of heart in mouth style stuff...but Tunni in the centre really did settle the rest....you wouldnt know thats not our starting back four.

Davies is a box of tricks as he goes both ways really well.......the exciting thing is with players like that...keeping cox out....we have strenghth in depth.

Thought the ref had a good first half and got a little touchy in the secod half....a bit card happy....overall none were pens...so I thought he was ok.

Also just back from the game. Thought we did pretty well, Carlisle huffed and puffed but did not create too much. Agree the Dickinson doesn't seem to jump for anything but he did cross for the second goal. Looked like Michel made a wonder save right at the end.

All in all a good day out!

Good stuff throughout the team, although we did keep inviting them oto us, which was a bit hair-raising.

Defensively, we were able to deal with everything they chucked at us in open play, but things weren't quite so good a set-pieces. We probably averaged 6" taller than them, which helped - taller teams will cause us far more trouble. Still, pretty tight. Kuipers was superb - one brilliant fingertip save and one with his legs near the end at near-point blank range.

Liked us up front - lots of purpose, lots o danger, and Forster was brilliant.

This was my first game of the season, and we were clearly better than any of you lot have been reporting so far. Has the mythical corner been turned (still quite a bit of room for improvement, though).

The sooner dickinson drops out the team the better, he is f***ing useless

like said before im not an El Abd fan either but if he keeps playing like that i'll be converted, maybe not MOM but his effort commitment and dare i say it ability shone today. Fozzy looked really sharp too and that second goal... i was about to slate Dicko for a crap near post cross when suddenly there was Foz to stab it home. Carlisle huffed and puffed and pretty much threw everything at us in the second half but apart from the couple of saves from Kippers they never really looked like scoring. The back four were emense. Well played lads and keep it going.

Leeds - but not the dirty bit
Remember when we all loved El Abd, well he was that good again today.

Awsome Forster. All in all a marked improvement on earlier Albion games this season

Happy times ahead.

No need to say any more others have already said it... f..ing great day out

Thanks Greens :(
I still think we need a creative midfielder to put his foot on the ball and pick out a decisive pass. The wingers didn't get a lot of the ball and the oh-so-obvious long ball up to Dickinson wasn't working. Even if he had got his noddle onto any of them, there was no-one overlapping or close enough to pick up the flick-ons. If that is the present chosen tactic, it might be good if someone tells everybody else what's going on...

That said, the back four were immense, and with an early lead to defend, shut up shop totally. As someone else said, when Dickinson went down the left and squared the ball, I thought WTF was that, not seeing Forster pop up at the near post to tap in...

Brilliant atmosphere, non-stop chanting and the players really looked like they appreciated us being there...

That was pure class. :lolol: looked a lot better watching it from our vantage point than from what was shown on the tv highlights.
