Not having heard of this lot before, I read each of the several articles published in the mainstream media. The broad coverage clearly tends towards an entirely reasonable consensus that they are indeed a right wing group. I heartily agree with those who think the OP's whinge has zero basis in fact. Unless of course the Fleet Street Alliance is in a conspiracy to misrepresent the views of this honest, down to earth, tolerant group of misunderstood liberal democrats and Tory wets. Yeah right ...

I know, with all these people supporting terrorism it is important we match to make sure people know we don't like it.

They should have their privileges removed or limited.

That way we could get on with talking about the failings of the government anti extremism policy.

I just wish the media would report on the march.

Correct, though you originally said far-right and have amended to just right-wing, two terms that may aswell mean the same thing nowadays. As an aside, the bloke votes labour so they must be right wing too.

How exactly would they stop him from attending? This is a question any actual 'reasonable' people would ask before painting it far right.

If they don’t want to painted as far right then they’d also have to ask all those from the London Forum, the Southeast Alliance and the Pie and Mash squad , to name a few, to leave as well. They’d be busy.

It would take a special type of brain to be able to extrapolate support for terrorism from my post.
He certainly has one of those :)

People protesting against the terror attacks, and saying we don't want them here. Obviously just a bunch of right wing fascist racists, innit?

It's the most mental reason for a march ever.

Worthing
Enough is enough, was the Cry
We’ve seen enough innocents die
We must do something the people said
This can’t go on, our streets turning red
With the blood of our children, and innocent folk
The government do nothing, we’re becoming a joke
Across the land a call went out
And needless to say there was never was a doubt
That the true Men of England, and some ladies too
Answered the call, and formed a crew
A crew made up from every firm in the land
One big Football Army, who all would stand,
Who all knew the score, and how to respond
Who would all stick together and form a Bond

Let’s organise a march, somebody said
We will knock all our differences on the head
We’ll all march together, side by side
No Flags, No Colours, No Songs, just pride
Pride in each other for making a stand
And showing the World, that we are a Band
A band Of Brothers, Sisters and Chums
Fathers, Grandads, Grandmas and Mums
Not Hooligans, Not Yobs, Not casuals or Wrong Uns
But People who care, for our Country and Young Ones
Our MOTO will be, Together we’re Stronger,
And on the day of the march the Column grew longer

Over Ten Thousand turned up that Day
Some made speeches, some had their say
Then all lined up and off it did trundle
The march for peace, not for a bundle
Everyone thought that this couldn’t be right
Rivals getting together, and not want to fight
But what the Media, the Police and the State didn’t know
That all were in agreement to give it a go
To peacefully march and to put on a show
Of solidarity, and strength without the Agro
St Pauls to London Bridge was the route the march took
Cars peeped the horns, People stopped to look
Applause rang out, whistles and cheers
No anger, or hatred, blood shed or tears

On London Bridge Wreaths were laid,
A minutes silence and speeches were made
Respect was shown by everyone
A force against Evil had begun
Out with Extremists is our Cry
We don’t want to see anymore die
No One Likes Us, we don’t care
We’ll keep the true flag flying high in the air
And when the Lads go marching in
We’ll march on together, until we win
Until this country acts against extremist scum
Until the Government realise we’ll end what we’ve begun
We are not going to go away
We will be back another day
But until then our numbers grow stronger
At the next march the column will be longer
We’ll stand and be counted, Side by side
We’re Stroger Together, we won’t hide

I've heard a whisper that the government are now going to stop terrorists doing whatever they like.

Apparently, they are going to introduce laws and get the police to enforce them and they are going to pump billions into the security services to infiltrate and stop terrorist groups.

Now I'm not claiming that this is all down to the march, but it must have helped

I'm thinking of starting a march against all crime next and see if i can get someone to write a poem. Who's in ?
