I think it unlikely that CH (a man who has a history of writing articles for socialist publications) would get involved in a protest group who's organisers have a history of football violence and right wing political groups - clearer ?

I think we can both agree that Chris was not going to the march and was just photographed on a train.

I'm not interested in politics but I'm against terrorism, this is what the march was about, I'm sure there were plenty on the march that are not right wing.

My point is, I'm sure CH is also against terrorism whatever his political views are.
I'm not sure why you mentioned them, nothing too see here.

Gods country fortnightly
Whoever sent the tweet has misled a few people though.

Tweet should have said, " CH chats with Newcastle fans on train, decent bloke "

The sad reality is there are a lot of people that will take taken in by this fake news.

I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this line

He called for “hate preachers” to be “arrested”

Has gone too far IMHO (in my honest opinion)

That is hands down the most hateful, RACIST comment I have ever read, I spat my tea over my macbook pro. I shall have NO INTERACTION with the FLA or any thread that dares speak their name. LITERALLY SHAKING RIGHT NOW!!!

Are those Wolves chaps who were throwing scaffolding at an Albion pub going to be walking side by side with those same Albion fans then? Impressive stuff. It's a bit like that He Man episode where He Man and Skeletor are on the same side and He Man says "Skeletor might be a villain but he's OUR villain".

It's triffic that all these thick-necked crew-cutted simpletons can unite around a common cause - all against those ruddy EXTREMISTS. And when this march is all done, the extremists will cower away, and the whole nation - if not the world - will have changed forever. And it's all thanks to these lads marching instead of smashing up each other's pubs. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Typical crass post from you Dumpster They are more likely, making contacts, swapping details and organising because they know whats coming.

With annual growth rates in jihadi attacks of around 400% how long do you think youve got?

Just how out of touch do these trot idiots at the SWP have to be?
From the article you are no doubt fawning over

“The EDL started with similar racist appeals about “Islamic extremism” and used sections of organised football supporters.”

Taking the appealing to football supporters out of the equation what sort of idiot thinks opposing Islamic extremism is racist…….oh that’s right a SWP apologist idiot.

What are you talking about, Lunatic old boy? Maybe you should keep your incoherent dribble to threads about how we need more guns in this country. [emoji38]

I'll just leave this here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

Here's the bit that you'll make excuses for:

Firearm deaths per 100,000:
United Kingdom 0.23 (2011)
United States 10.54 (2014)

It seems you're 46 times more likely to die of a firearm related incident in the US than you are here. Sorry, what was that you were saying about safety?

You going to top those numbers up with acid attacks? /Anyway, you overlook the point that the USA is saturated with guns so any ban would lead to law abiding citizens being put at the mercy of criminals.

You also do not see any "safety" advocates offering up control as a final settlement, on a lot of issues this type of mission creep/progressive politics does not work, especially when the opposite is cast in stone,. For example, the progressive abolition of the monarchy? The NRA is always ready to negotiate wereas the GOA isn't, most Americans who are pro gun take their cue from the GOA.
