Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Sorry for the slight delay due to inclement weather.
Just a hair-line crack left to get shots of the inside from the outside.
However, all being well, there will be an "Inside Special" on the Tuesday after next.
Irrigation and drainage systems all installed under the pitch area.
Root zone (sandy soil) now being spread.
Flocks of seagulls seem a permanent feature over our stadium now.
Need revenge over the Monkey Hangers tomorrow. How dare they crock our best player, beat us, and think they've got away with it.
Just 2 lots of 5 photos today.

Meopham, Kent.
Ruddy gorgeous.

Pictures with seagulls flying over, just make me want to weep with excitement.

Absolutely loving the sight of the sand going down. Really getting down to the business end of the build when the pitch starts going in.

Just...keeps...getting...BETTER!!!!

Of all your great efforts, for me this one really is the first to have that 'nearly there' feel to it. Can't really explain why, just leads me to thinking the finishing line is in sight!

Amazing stuff, looking incredible now, and I agree with you Gordon, it does feel more like an unfinished stadium rather than just a building site now.

Just one slight observation...

That is infact 2000t of 6mm shingle to form the drainage layer, not rootzone as mentioned by Jack Straw.

Excellent photo's though.

Rootzone will be going down in March / April, prior to the pitch being seeded.

I stand corrected. What do I know about sports turf!

The first picture, of the seagulls soaring, is now the wallpaper on my computer...replacing the single gull on the roof strut from last week...excellent work again Jack, look forward to the shots from inside next week, we are nearly there!
