If Brezovan is fit, I would give him a game otherwise go with Ankergren. Defensively, there is no real option unless you play Cook or we get a new defender. In midfield, I would definitely play Bridcutt, Lua Lua and Sparrow to give them games and then one or two others, depending on formation. Up front, I would hope to have a new forward to play a part at least.

Have him on the bench just in the case, but dont think he's worth the risk. Besides, Im going so I HAVE to see KLL and I like the look of Jamie Smith.

Reserve team, The league is far more important, if we wanted a cup run we should have fielded a stronger side in the league cup where a trip to Liverpool (as thats who Northampton got) would have generated far more income. Even if we do have Lua Lua back and a new striker we cant afford Suspensions and injuries.

Apart from that if this side wins, and Holroyd perhaps gets a goal, what a boost in confidence for all of them.

Just look at what happend playing Sparrow and Navarro at Northampton. Would rather give the subs a chance to impress.

I think Gus was stung by the poor display of the reserve side he put out at Northampton and won't want to lose at home against his predecessor, Slade.

I am guessing he will stick with a strong defence and might even give the first choice unit a further chance to gel.

In attack we showed at Northampton that we lack strength in depth so expect either Murray or Barnes to start if not both. Holroyd will surely get some playing time.

Most change (and the place where we have real strength in depth) is likely to be in midfield. I think I would start with Smith, Sparrow, Bridcutt and Baz with LuaLua on the bench alongside Dicker, Bennett, Battipiedi and Caskey.

I just thought we could stick him on the bench so we dont risk an injury to him thats all. We'll see what gus does on the day, what ever team he puts out is going to win anyway wonder if russell is going to play coxy?
