Glamour model Jordan was arrested for allegedly punching a woman in the face in a nightclub.
Jordan, real name Katie Price, was formally arrested yesterday at Sutton Coldfield police station, West Midlands, and released on bail pending further inquiries.
The alleged incident in a Birmingham nightclub last month came after Jordan, 28, had been attending a jelly-wrestling match at the National Exhibition Centre.
Her manager Dave Read said Jordan, who lives in a £300,000 farmhouse on the outskirts of Brighton, flatly denied assaulting the woman.
Mr Read said famous people were often targets for allegations.
He said: "It is a bit of a storm in a teacup, really. Jordan is a celebrity and people often like to take a pop at them.
"Jordan denies the allegation and will fight the case in court if necessary but we're hoping it won't come to that."
Last month Jordan, who has a 16-month-old son Harvey, escaped injury when her new £70,000 Mercedes sports car was in collision with a lorry in Cowfold, near Horsham.
