Newcastle United have raided Brighton to appoint Jordan Tribe as the club's new coach analyst.
Newcastle have appointed Tribe following the departure of the influential Mark Leyland, who not only helped with the implementation of training and coaching on the grass but, also, led analysis sessions and broke down information for Eddie Howe on the opposition's strengths and weaknesses.
The position was so crucial that Newcastle even enlisted the help of recruitment partners the Executives in Sports Group back in April when the club advertised the position. Tribe ultimately emerged as the outstanding candidate after Newcastle targeted 'the best in class' and the new recruit has been in place for several weeks now.
