there really didn't seem to be any future here for him - shame really as he came with a decent pedigree but just wasn't quite good enough (or wasn't given enough chance)

I don't think he was really given much of a chance. If it's anything to go by he always looked the best finisher when I (occasionally) saw him in the warm-ups. Obviously you need more than that at this level though.

Good luck to him.I'm sure he'll find a Conference or even League Two club easily enough.

All the best to him.

Does this not mean that now we only have 3 strikers, one of which wants to leave?

Yep, Hart listed as a midfielder. Which I'd agree with (winger obviously).

Good luck to JD in the future.

Good decision.

Can Harty produce his form of the end of the season for an entire season. I am doubtful.

Leaves us with Forster who is ageing but should be good for another year , Murray who could be off and Davies who looks a long way off a striker.

Would say we need 2 strikers ideally

If Muzza leaves we will only have 2 decent strikers though , OGH and Foz.

Give Davies a chance!
I don't see Hart as an out and out striker. Hell, maybe we can play Virgo up front again when we pick up a couple of injuries and suspensions!

I had thought the club would learn from signing Pitcher however clearly they didn't.

Good luck but no regrets from me you are leaving.

It's not as if his leaving has changed anything at all, wasn't ever going to play.

Good luck to him, we still need one more striker.

Jonny Dixon - what was he FOR? Knew he was a wrong 'un from the minute he was pictured alongside Uncle Dick, signing up, wearing an outlandish Starsky and Hutch jumper. Should have had his contract torn up there and then IMHO. Still, better late than never eh?

You would hope that this means we've got other strikers lined up to come in.
