Interesting. Would be surprised if Gus went back for someone who'd rejjed him before. Plus he looked unfit, overweight and a little bit shit at Withdean a couple of weeks ago. Am I being harsh on the lad?

In the same way that our players are attracting attention from other clubs a lot of players are interested in coming here. Personally I trust in Gus.

Right now, virtually every player in L1 or L2 will be pitching themselves for Gus's attention, and probably a few in the Championship too. Just relax and watch it all unfold folks!

No that is about right. Of the two Prutton looked the better player, plus we have decent players in that holding position already.

Swipe me down but I have it on pretty good authority he will be one of your first signings of the summer.

No offence but I think we will be looking at better players than the Jonathan Douglas' of this world next season

no ta , i am not one of those who think it is a step back to sign a player in a lower league but dougles imo would be

I wouldn't go overboard regarding signings - I really can't see Poyet making wholesale changes to his squad with new names all over the place. We have fringe players like Adgestein who must be there for something other than winning reserve matches.

There's also strong rumours like about the Bristol Rovers lad which sounded tangible. With Gus you can pretty-much know he's not bringing in a list of new faces for every position. For him to start gaining a reputation for using players to gain immediate success then dumping them, we wouldn't get people rushing to sign long contracts at Brighton.

Don't know anything about him to be honest. But is he really likely to be good enough to challenge for the top six in the Championship?
