I went for an interview at a Blacksmiths yesterday.

He asked "Are you any good at shoeing horses?"

I said "No, but I once told a Donkey to **** off"

You must be desperate going for a job interview like that, its quite specialised work and if you have never done it before I doubt they will employ you, have you been out of work long

You seem a sensible fellow.

I doubt very much you would have usual foul language in a job interview.
That would have seriously affected your chances of being offered the position.

I doubt if this is true. Have you ever had to catch a horse? It's difficult enough to catch them let alone shoe them, and as for Donkeys.

I'm not sure why he was asking about irrelevant experience, a Blacksmith makes the shoes, a Farrier will be the person who fits them.

It doesn't sound like a professional organisation and I would suggest you are better off looking for employment in another role.
