Fair play to him, he was perched up on the camera gantry, I presume doing the roving updates for SkySports this afternoon. Needless to say we waited until the lights and camera were running and he started his broadcast before peppering him with "Palace reject" chants. Amazingly he kept a straight face.

And I'm pleased to say, when a rousing chorus of "stand up if you hate Palace" went round the West Stand in the first half, I swear to God he (subtly) raised himself out of his seat and shot us a grin.

Its tempting, but I happen to live in a rather nice village in Kent rather than south Norwood and while a life by the sea would be pleasant I dont think the shocking green of your shirts would match my eyes very well. Added to that I would have to learn a whole new song and turn my back on 30 years of support of the Palace, then there is the question of whether I would rather be a Pikey chav or a bummer ..... no I'll stick with the eagles thanks
