I've not seen him play but plenty on here seem to rate him and he
is supposedly versatile in the positions he can play.

The midfield needs some guile, Watto is not in form , so if Piercy is as versatile and as good as he is supposed to be and able to score, it seems strange that he isn't given a chance.

I know he was suffering from a bug but if he's now fit why can't he force himself into a weakened squad.

What's the problem with him?

And why give Piercy a contract if you're not going to play him? He must be a better option than either Watto or Pethick.

Collitis is more than just a bug. I had it a few years ago and it lasted for months. Very painful indeed.
Piercy has only played one full game for the reserves this season so far so can't be expected to be put straight into the first team. According to todays argus he will be on the bench this afternoon.

i hope he gets a chance this year, we need more options in midfield and out wide just to mix it up a bit

he sounds quality

I've not been impressed with Jones much lately, would like to see Piercey given a run-out in his place.

Did nothing to impress in the time he was on today although to be fair he wasn't on for long

I think Coppell was unimpressed with his fitness and fondness for a kebab and six pints.

Has a lot of ability, but needs to want it more to get a first team place

Because we can't play 13-14 players on the pitch at the same time and he isn't good enough to get in front of the others.

I think he deserves a look-in. Looked lively but only played a short time so fitness may be the issue.

The sooner we sign Kanchelskis the better we need a player with a bit of guile to get round 6 defenders and he is just the person.

Sounds promising though - rumour going round today was 6-month contract as soon as his registration comes through which would then be extended to the rest of the season presumably if we are there or there abouts.
