To be honest, thats what Talksport usually do with their presenters who fall out of line.

.. which is why people posting on here saying the Russel Brand et al, would have got away with it on commercial radio are talking utter utter bollocks.

Off the head of my head, list of presenters who have either been sacked or suspended over the last few year: Mike Mendoza, James Whale (recently) and Tommy Boyd.

In fact you could argue that you're likelihood of getting sacked on commercial radio or television is much higher since advertisers can pull their deals very very quickly.

Celebrity Big Brother ? Carphone Warehouse were out of there like a shot....

I always found Gaunt the very worst of all on Talksport, if ever I turned on my car radio between 10 and 2 by mistake I always turned it straight off again. Apart from terry christian ( who has been goonered I think ?) all the Talksport presenters are pretty good ....I love Parry, Comedy Genius !

Hiney and I met Gaunt when we appeared on TalkSport a couple of months ago, and he was indeed a complete twat. Mike Parry seemed as expected, slightly bonkers, but I expected his persona was more pantomime villain than anything else.
