I know he tried something with John Sitton which didn’t work out.

Pretty tricky finding talent which is interesting/relevant AND realistic/affordable, I guess...

I believe sales were... disappointing.

In fairness, there are some very long video interviews with him on YouTube, which probably covers everything you need to know about JS. (He's great value though).
