Stephane Mbia, who plays at centre-back or in midfield, moving in the opposite direction.

Barton has been left without a squad number at Loftus Road this season after his no.17 shirt was yesterday given to new signing Ryan Nelsen.

Is this true?! He'd go up in my estimation for that tbh, although not sure if he's quite good enough? Either going to go brilliantly or be a disaster

Would have preferred "Joey Barton to Mars on a season loan."

Am I the only one who thinks that he's not that a great a player anyway? The amount of hassle and public grief he gives a club/team is certainly not made up for in his performances....

Correct. His stats are pretty crap. He can charge around but he can't really tackle or pass, but some supporters prefer charging around and bumping into people over talent.

Haha. Great. If he tries any of his little games when he is out at night there, some North-African will slit his throat.

I would not be suprised if the found him floating face down in the med Or wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of the harbour there. There's good scuba diving there so they should find him eventually.
