He has one year left on his contract at Huddersfield, would he be an automatic replacement for Dunk being left footer.

Ummm the difference is Arfield and Clayton are young and very talented footballers, Lynch is well... Lets say average at best.

Not sure that he would be considered as a good signing. Maybe as cover as has been suggested but I'm not sure he would ever be a fans favourite after his unsavoury departure.... tw*t!

Centre back and left back cover in one with no loan window to rely on.

Only question would be about Tom Dallison, if we sign Lynch it would effectively say that Dallison isn't ready, which isn't terminal, but at some point you either play them or let them leave.

Not too bad in the centre of defence, but i certainly don't think he is the solution, i'd have rather have kept Greer. As for him playing left back, possibly one of the worst i've ever seen in that position.
