18 years ago today, Joe left us with a legacy of songs that are as relevant today as when he first wrote them. One of the most important and inspirational bands of all time, I wonder what he would have made of the state of the world in 2020?

He would probably be moaning about something on Twitter and showing nice pictures on Instagram. Im happy most of my heroes are either dead or notoriously publicity shy, it would be very difficult to respect them the same way once they went on social media.
