Still in Brighton
I'd rather there was Joe Lycett (sometimes somewhat amusing) trying to embarass Beckham (I stood with The People in a queue so can I be knighted now) than not tbf. I think he does more good than harm, on his Got Your Back show anyway. I don't expect him to be whiter than white himself, especially in his younger days as a jobbing comedian. I am shocked though that Lycett had an auto biography out in 2016.

Looking forward to seeing what news stories he's been planting.
Willy Wonka maybe? The Titschmarch one surely?
What a lad.

The Titchmarsh one surely, but if it’s the Wonka one that’ll be incredible

Wonder about the 80 boxes of Easter eggs and “hot tick buns” ones too

Other suggestions online are H from Steps statue, and a hedgehog being rescued that turned out to be a pompom.
Harry Styles tour guide. Through the lens of them possibly being made up most of these general interest news items are absurd.

Not in Whitechapel
The lady who tried feeding the bobble from a hat because she thought it was a hedgehog is nailed on.

The Willy Wonka experience would be amazing, but I can’t see it. It would have taken a Herculean effort to organise all of that.

Re Wonka the back story seemed to allow fit, but that documentary, The Scandal That Rocked Britain, was a perfect example of the kind of thing Lycett would attack. Scandalous.

would certainly make more sense if the Titchmarsh as popular in Korea was a setup, it didn't make sense at the time, a whiff of early April Fool. that statue thing apparently unknown to anyone in the town.
