Spot on, playing lower league football is so much better for development than u21 games which can resemble training exercises at times.

Agree entirely, virtually all the dev squad games I have watched have been pretty one-sided one way or the other, not often they are competitive. Plus the playing XI changes so much there isn't a huge amount of consistency of players/style.

I went to Dagenham to see Whitehawk and he was playing for the Daggers. I was not impressed with him at all. He was benched for the return game.
