...was in the West Lower bar after the game talking to fans and generally taking in the atmosphere. Lovely bloke who took time for a photo with my son which has made his year and was chatting happily and easily to fans.

Probably will not be around next season along with BFG, Sidwell and maybe Baldock. Time for a quick appreciation of these players. Yes we’ve stayed up but these guys played a massive part in us getting up.

Obviously this club means a lot to players if they actively go to the popular fan bars at the end of the season rather than just disappearing.

It's unfortunate that some players who helped us get to the premier league will fall by the wayside. When they're a nice bloke like Jiri it's even worse.

The 2016/17 squad will always hold a special place. Hopefully the players who aren't quite good enough for the PL or age has caught up with them, will come back regularly as friends of the club.

Best of luck to the Czech MENTALIST and scorer of one of our best goals ever. Someone please dig out the standing on a chair in the garden picture.

According to press reports he will be their record signing beating the £800k that stands so not too big a financial hit for us.

Not according to the local rag.

The South London Press understands that Skalak will not break the Championship club’s long-standing transfer record – £800,000 for Paul Goddard in 1989.

Just to help you a bit.....your eyes must be getting old......or the bit between your eyes and fingers is screwed up.

He will NOT be their record signing.

Think he'll do well there. He's clearly a good Championship player and will create a lot of chances - Morison and Gregory will love him

Its very important to view that amazing image in CONTEXT.

It isn't JUST a picture of a professional footballer stood on a chair in his back garden, with his shirt on back to front, a flag in each hand, and a scarf on his head.

It is a picture of a professional footballer stood on a chair in his back garden at 8am, the morning after his team were promoted, having pulled an all-nighter partying with the fans, with his match shirt still on, but now back to front, a flag in each hand, and a scarf on his head...

Indeed. And with a flag sarong and no shoes or socks. LEGEND.
