Jimmy Case Hat-trick

My recollections of that game were that Case was unbelievable and got a standing ovation when he came off and unless my memory is playing tricks with me Keiran O`Regan made an appearance for us and had a really classy game aswell, brilliant passing, turns etc but was virtually never seen again. I can remember the 5th goal going in just before half time and thinking how incredible it was to go in at half time 5-0 up but the thing was I remember the 2nd half being just as entertaining, especially case-o!

My recollection was of Micky Ring making his debut as a sub and running out of steam after 20 mins!

Next week we went to Grimsby and lost 5-0.

I was at both.

I missed the Charlton game, but headed off for grimsby in a state of high anticipation at the spanking they were bound to receive

Don't remember any rough stuff from the Addicks. I do remember them going mental when they won a corner though...

I was sat in the Lego stand - only time I did this! I think it was demolished at the end of the season. I remember the roof kept lift up as it was a windy day and a lot of people kept looking up worried it would actually blow off and kill us all!!

I had a broken arm at the time after the ruffians at Cardinal Newman school couldn't take being beaten by Blatchington Mill on the football pitch. Managed to snap both bones and the game was abandoned as the ambulance had to come on to the pitch! The result stood and we won the game which was nice!
