I friend of mine is a letting agent and was showing some one round a few days ago. She got the impression he was footballer so googled him. Turned out to be one of our new signings. He said that his new employer gives him a grand a month rent allowance.

You can get a pretty decent pad, even if you only wanted to spend the allowance. I put money on him ending up in the Marina.
