He spent more time out of his box (literally, the managers box) than in it. At one point got as far as level with the penalty area in the south. The lino was having to run round him because he was on the pitch so often. And the fourth official did nothing at all. Astonishing he didn;t get booked for that. And also for that sarcastic hand clap. He's a lucky Yank to not be spending the next game in the stands. Odious little attention seeker. Very pleased him and his team of hackers left with nothing other than five yellow cards.

Inside the first 20 minutes we had 6 or 7 free kicks to their 1 or 0, but they were some of the clearest fouls i've ever seen. Tackles flying in very late. They really shouldn't of been moaning.

He is wholly and appropriately matched with the team he manages..... entitled, deluded, aggressive and out of his depth.

Yep. At another point he was sideline coaching a player from pretty much on the pitch and I was wondering when it was going to get cracked down on.

Should have had three yellows by the letter of the law, and yet, apparently, he's the victim.

Still, never mind. Three points to the good guys and I predict they'll drop like a stone in the second half of the season if that's how limited his tactics are.

Thought it was interesting the way Potter greeted him before the match, like an old friend. Very warm and friendly. Not seen that before.

Gave his team an illegal time out on about 35 minutes, as we were tearing them apart.

A player went down with a faux NOT HEAD injury near the dug outs, Marsch and his bench lied and went mad, the ref fell for it and stopped play.

Marsch then ignored the lying Leeds player and brought the team over for a tactical talk.

Should not be allowed mid half.

But justice in the end with 3 points to the good guys.

His post-match interview: "they would get touched and go down and get fouls, our guys were getting tackles, literally moments just getting tackled, and not getting fouls".

He does understand the concept of tackling does he? That a tackle doesn't equal a foul?

“Yeah, absolutely. I thought my behaviour at that point deserved the yellow card.

“But I always say, when you don’t believe that you’re getting a performance out of the referee I think you have two options: to sit there and take it or to escalate your behaviour to try to make a point to see if you can affect the way decisions are getting made.

“Sometimes it works for you, sometimes it works against you. But I’ll never be a guy that just sits there and takes it, that’s not my style."

Thought HIS Leeds team were basically animals, and a lot like 70’s Leeds, certainly a step back from Bielsa who I thought was overrated as well.

Their first half performance was one of the worst I’ve seen by any team at The Amex.

But all our players dived
Potter sent the team out to dive to stop Leeds' pressing game
The ref was anti Leeds, which you either accept or get at the ref.
The players didn't follow his game plan

Quality manager who could start an argument in an empty room.

How is that OK?

Refs are going easy on fouls at the moment, as they often do early season. Then a couple of high profile managers will moan and they’ll get stricter again, as they always do.

It’ll be interesting to see how Leeds get on then. Pressing and constant fouling are not the same thing. They seemed a bit confused on that score. Will get a lot of reds once their season starts to turn.

Aaronsen was good though.

I can see what you are saying re his comment over the deserved card….but his ranting over every decision against his team nah…the guy perhaps needs to take a few lessons from Dyche.
His team play close to the edge and particularly in the first half we’re keen to leave their feet in the tackle after the ball had gone.

Now the clip on MOTD …yep comes across as ok

Quite like him.

First he's American and has to put up with all sorts of "soccerball" prejudice and he's had to follow what Leeds fans consider the second coming.

With all that he that is he doing ok.
