I work with a lot of West Ham fans and they've been talking about Defoe to ManUre for months. Fergusson really rates him and has been very closely tracking his progress.
This may not happen now but it's very like the Zamora to Spurs rumour that kept resufacing over a long period and we all know how that worked out.
