He's suggested joint administration on a couple of occasions and was congratulated by the Argentine government very specifically on his election. However he's never said he will give up sovereignty. That's why my original mention of it said IF HE DID and not WHEN HE DOES. As an example of something that might turn me off him. Honestly, though he intrigues me. HAS to be better than Blair too.

Strange response. Corbyn specifically announced there would be an equal split of female and male shadow cabinet ministers - most people kind of assumed that at least one of the top positions would go to a woman, even those nasty Tories managed that. I think it's perfectly valid to ask why the leader of the opposition won't discuss his appointments (which was the point you avoided answering). You've got the like of long-standing Labour MPs Diana Johnson and Margaret Curran publicly expressing disappointment at the apparent backtracking so your huff and puff about the Tories being worse doesn't quite answer the question.

It would have been nice for at least one of the Corbynistas to practice what they preach about a new era of honest, principled politics without reference to the current status quo and say "I think he got it wrong here". Maybe Corbyn and his fans aren't so different as they like to make out.

Buzzer, there were still talks going on about the shadow cabinet earlier today which I am fairly certain is why he did not want to answer the question. This is the latest list I've seen:

Okay. I'll volunteer. It's a disappointment. He should have done better. My next door neighbour (who is very good at what she does) is about to be lost to public service as she's sick of having to deal with an endless stream of white, middle aged men. Things need to change and I'm disappointed he didn't rise to that and I'm equally disappointed that he ran away from the questions.

Andy Burnham was right with his comment about having women at the top 'when the time is right'. What message does this give? Glass ceilings, I reckon.

Women have been appointed as Chief Whip, Chief Secretary to the Treasury and to the Defence, Health and Education portfolios. There are more women than any other shadow or actual cabinet I can think of and more than twice as many as in Cameron's cabinet. I would have thought that those were things to be applauded.

Chris Bryant, the new shadow Commons leader, said he had been offered the job of shadow defence secretary but turned it down because he disagreed with Mr Corbyn "about a lot of defence issues".

Not these days it's not, you have to have certain criteria to meet so everything and everyone are equal.
