The Brazilian guy who was shot on the tube ran when challenged, jumped over a ticket barrier and jumped on a tube train. In context with what happened previously I'm surprised he wasn't shot earlier. This is not a computer game where you restart when you fail!
At the risk of sounding like a broken record. NO HE DIDN'T! I didn't plan to get involved in this thread, was just browsing, but why do people stick to 'what they've heard' rather than the widely published facts?
Here's one of the many reports google throws up from well know leftist propaganda machine the mail online : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-396100/Timeline-The-death-Jean-Charles-Menezes.html
Here's a snippet :
August 16
Leaked documents from the IPCC inquiry, published by ITV news, reveals that Mr de Menezes had done little to arouse suspicion in the minutes before his death.
Far from vaulting a ticket barrier and running down an escalator, he had actually walked into the station at normal pace and paused to pick up a free newspaper.
He was not clad in a bulky coat, but only a light denim jacket.
One police officer said he had been unable to record video footage of the Brazilian because he had been "relieving himself".
That part where the copper was having a slash so they couldn't get video is the reason they were unable to get confirmation that he was not the man they wanted. They f-ed up big time.
On the here illegally point too, he'd entered the UK from Ireland some time before so was here lawfully.
