think the fatalitiy estimate is going to grow substantially. those picture miss the most striking one, town of 17k wiped out except the hospital building and a hand full of others.

Those pictures are absolutely horrific.

Incredible, horrific pictures. All that life just wiped out.

Apparently a state of emergency has now been declared at a second nuclear facility, so there may be so much more yet to come.

As Frutos said - and there are still quakes/aftershocks that could turn into fullblown new disasters, along with the nuclear dangers.

It's not a before and after situation yet - more like an ongoing one
