Even Sky Sports are finding it hard to fill time. Henderson's live conference has been on for 24 hours. Poor bloke looks knackered.

If this is the early signs of FFP kicking in, that’s a good thing for us I think. Easier to keep our players if they aren’t being offered 4x wages and their agents don’t stand to make £m’s in fees

Exactly why I think we might land some summer targets or longer term targets in this window.

Barco to Brighton is arguably one of the bigger stories of the window so far, which is crazy considering he's 19, might be loaned out, and the fee was $10m. Definitely a quieter window than we've grown to expect. At least, so far.

Yeah. If it carries on like this then there will be no need for the window to SLAM shut, instead it can close quietly with barely a click. Barry from Eastenders probably won't be needed to close it this year :(

Complete log jam

So many close to FFP limits so have to sell before they buy, however no one is buying as they are also close to FFP or the selling club is asking for ridiculous fees for dross.

European clubs are also broke, so hardly anyone is buying PL players either

I'm alright with it. Perhaps big clubs will e forced to try this new fangled thing called 'coaching your players' to try and stay ahead of the competition mid-season.

Rather than roling the dice with your Oligarch / Feudal Overlords trust fund.

I think there's also a scramble for the bottomish teams to strengthen, maybe they think only a small number of teams can actually go and they're saving their funds for the summer

i’n not, actually. our secret sauce is our coaching set up and the people we have behind the scenes in scouting, operational delivery etc.

if the big clubs cannot spend ridiculous sums on players they will just spend ridiculous sums on those positions instead, and that’s where we really lose out
