January Transfer Window - Will Funds be Available?

Regardless of whether Slade is still in charge, if we are in the same position come January surely Bloom will get the cheque book out.

With Falmer round the corner an investment of say £500k is small fry? Anyone agree?

I would expect funds to be available whoever is in charge as it would be a disaster to get relegated this season. I knew some dont agree and would like to go into Falmer on the back of a Div 2 title, but I wouldnt, I would rather on the back of a very successful Div 1 season with the play offs being the minimum

reading all the posts on here i would say a cm and striker are the least of our problems by all accounts we need defenders (i havent been to a game at all this season so cant really comment on the team only by what i read on here and what family tell me )

Thing is we have defenders there not all fit though , Cook , Hoyte , Whing , Tunnicliffe , Virgo , Elphick , El abd , Wright , Mcnulty , Livermore. 6 of them can play Center Back , 5 of them can play right back , 5 can play left back . Just need the defenders to be fit thats all and find the right combination at center back.

Yes, but the majority are not very good at CB.

I aint even thinking about January, because we definitely need a experienced centre back and maybe a creative midfielder on loan. January is far away, and we've got four of the hardest teams in this division next month.

Totally agree. We need an experienced center back to come in help the likes of Tunni and Tommy along. They're young defenders with a lot of potential but they need a wise head alongside them.

Agreed the next 4 league games are not going to be easy at all. if we can pick up more than 4 points from them ill be happy. Leeds, Charlton and Norwich are all promotion standard. Southampton may not be far behind. we need a solution and fast.
