Perhaps Potter will take him to Sunderland? Could be the beginning of an exodus...
If you loan out with the clause that allows for a recall at any time it can work.
We would only be able to recall during January.

This is a good point. I think there are only about 14 games for us until the next window, and we have four other fit centre backs. I think the whole situation will be managed carefully as it was for Ben White, and that no conclusions will be drawn based on him getting half a season at a big championship club. With the WC break that MIGHT be a risk we’d take to give him game time
Van Hecke got minutes yesterday, and that’s with the other 4 centre backs fit. A couple of injuries/suspensions at the back and he’ll be playing every game. He should absolutely not go out on loan, unless of course, there is a ‘here we go’ centre back heading for the Amex in the next 4 days.

Phat chance, after they ruined young AaronSome reports that Middlesbrough are interested in taking him on loan for the remainder of the season.
I wonder if that would be an option if Matviyenko comes in.
First PL game - bit of nerves, new experience .............. can't judge him on 70 minutes.Based on the 70 minutes I saw, I don't think he's ready yet.
I didn't go but it takes Webster 5-6 games to get up to speed every time he comes back from injury and he's a lot more experiencedBased on the 70 minutes I saw, I don't think he's ready yet.
Agree with you both. Probably harsh on my part. I still think the lad has a future here.I didn't go but it takes Webster 5-6 games to get up to speed every time he comes back from injury and he's a lot more experienced
