I think he lives in Devon, doesn't he, so it actually makes sense, assuming City aren't paying him the earth. He never struck me as the money grabbing type anyway.

Good signing for them, even if he is 38 (?).

Not suprised he didn't want to move, defo not a money grabber either. Apparently he built a top of the range gym where he lives in Devon as there wasn't a good one, very reasonably priced to from what I hear

I read somewhere that if he hasnt signed for anybody before 1st August he is due a payout of £140k from Portsmouth so assume he will sign on Monday unless he wants to help them out and foresake the money.
