My bad. Thought he only played right back when covering TAA. In any case he's not a left back particularly at 37 (even if he did it aged 29)!

No, Stelling Jnr did. Jeff was gutted he didn't carry on supporting Hartlepool, but pleased he chose Brighton. I heard it all explained on the Albion podcast with Paul Hayward and Muzza a few months back.

I was ambivalent to Milner staying another year until Lallana’s decision. Now I think it’s a good move for him to stay.

Says in his interview he will be ready for pre season. So hopefully confident the recent injuries are now dealt with.
Meh.
If people suggested that Lallana was poor value for money - by playing well but only for brief flashes - then I'm struggling to see the attraction in another years of Milner's occasional flashes of mediocrity.
