I think Brown is actually good, Bridge is terrible and how he still plays for Chelsea I don't know. On MOTD I think it was Martin Keown who said he'd like to see Upson play alongside Ferdinand ???. As for James, I'd prefer to see Green there, he did have a bad game the other week but I think he's a good keeper.

In Keown's defence, it was a choice between Upson and Lescott. Lescott was expected to play, but Keown said he'd been gash in recent weeks and he would prefer Upson. I think pretty much everyone would prefer a fully fit King or Woodgate to either of the two.

Brown really isn't that bad but I guess everyone on NSC knows more then Alex Ferguson and Fabio Capello so hey ho.
Just doesn't give us a good attacking full back option although he hasn't got a bad cross on him when he does get forward.

And I'd rather Bridge in the team then Cashley.

so, Brown... why the f*** does a centre back*, with the ball about 7 foot high and dipping, duck? and then the "challenge" where he bundled into the forward. thats the problem with Brown, makes very, very poor decisions.

(*note he should have even been there, if thed been in position at RB he could have seen the threat better)

I don't think Brown played particularly well tonight, but I think blaming him for ducking is fairly irrelevant, as the ball had gone past his head and out of reach before he ducked. He didn't look too interested really, but hey ho, 3-1, can't complain!

I thought he was fairly solid. Brown and Walcott were both ball watching for the equaliser.
