Done nothing lately and allegedly caused trouble at most of the clubs he has been at.
If he wants what he was earning at Rangers we should steer well clear.
I think he could still do a job in the Championship though and wouldnt be surprised to see him end up at Southampton again as he lives there

Surely this has "Sven Signing" written all over it.
It's a name he's heard of, and someone he can still bring in now, even with the window shut. Whether the player is worth the transfer fee / wages doesn't seem to come into it, he's just high on the rush of signing players, and it's a rather scattergun approach.
We've done that in the past, and it was horrible. I much prefer the Gus / Bloom approach of seeing a target they like, research him properly, and then chase until you get him.
