From what people are saying about last night, Glenn needs someone to play up top with him. I know everyone will say that Jake has had plenty of chances to impress but has he played up front with Glenn before?

Maybe give a chance on Saturday?

I think he'll play one up front on Saturday, so it becomes a moot point, but I'd be happy to see Robinson get at least a half, with Murray.

Robinson isn't good enough. No plenty of chances to prove himself, and taken none of them. Would rather we played Gatting as at least he has showed a strikers instinct at times.

time for him to move on and prove some people wrong like a lot of ex-brighton players have

I think Micky has seen enough of Robinson to realise that he just doesn't have it. I hope he's seen enough of Cox too.

Saw the thread title and thought this was going to be another love-in by the Robinson fan club but pleased to see the majority of posts feel JR is not good enough. Let him go as soon as possible. Also, where are all these players that have proved us wrong? A change of scenery may kick start his career but it ain't going to here.

I think robinson and cox are good players at this level - I have no idea why adams doesn't rate robinson, especially as an impact sub winger - but adams has instead brought in lots of loans to take over from him which I think is a big mistake in the long run.

Anyone that saw the 'impact' he made when brought on against Walsall would know the answer to that. In a poor team performance he looked particularly clueless.

I don't get this 'Impact Player' business with Robinson either. He comes on, runs around a lot, falls over quite a bit (maybe that's when he makes an impact?) but an impact player who changes a game-I must have been on holiday when that happened. The only impact I can see is that it wakes his fan club up...

No doubt we all want him (and Cox) to do well for us but neither seems really capable.
