I think he's great, but then I though Adrian Chiles was good when he was on the Beeb. When he moved to ITV he became truly awful, like he'd started to believe his own hype. I also think Des Lynam was poor when he left the BBC, so it's an interesting question as to how JH would get on at another channel. People like Brundle haven't really changed with their switch so I guess there are pro's and cons. Maybe it's just ITV that make people shit, perhaps??

I like him. Seems like a bit of laugh, and appears to know his stuff as well.

And yes Trevor Nelson was the only downside to what was otherwise a brilliant opening ceremony. BBC got it all wrong with him.

Last year on the BBC with JH, EJ and DC presenting was absolutely fantastic.
I like Jake Humphrey and the fact he supports his local(ish) team. Great commentator too in my opinion. He's only 33 so has plenty of time to get even better.

Can't argue with that. Seems to have made the step from (cringeworthy) kiddies TV to appearing to know what he's on about and able to get it across professionally.Can only improve.

I complained to the BBC about. The bloke is a Norwich City supporting tos*er.
