Trench alongside south side of Village Way.
Two archeologists sitting in little holes scraping away with their trowels.
Big heap of chalk, main hole just gets bigger and bigger.
All sorts going on.

If you look again at the third photo you will see a big mound of lovely TOPSOIL. This will definately be for the PITCH

I know this because I saw them moving it the other day, it's beautiful loamy stuff!!!
