Now I may be speaking out of turn here, as a girl, but I think what you're talking about is actually for casting the concrete for the terrace bit. If you look above the blue line, there are no terraces, only a slope, whereas below it there are, so I presume it's where they pour the concrete up against in order to form a step.*

Or shall I go and sit back in the corner and concentrate on my ironing?

*if someone engineering-minded can tell me what the technical terms for all these things I am badly attempting to describe, I'd be grateful

Do we know what they'll be spelling out, if anything, with white seats amongst the blue?

Gawd, hopefully nothing at all. You don't have to be as poncy as PMB or even me to find that always looks horribly tacky.

Fine work as ever JS. Looking forward to some demolition pics soon - guess everyone loves a bit of that.

Make us a cuppa love eh?

Actually, thats what it looks like.

The big concrete pouring hopper in the last pic is probably the clincher.

Personally, I'm pleased to note that the Buckingham Group appear to be adhering to their promise of "Improving The Image Of Construction", as seen on the signs around the site.

At least two builders are bending over in the last shot, and yet there's not an arse cheek in sight.

*awaits Palace fan posting that this would be a first for Brighton*
