Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Sorry for the slight delay due to fog. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face earlier this morning!
Lights now fitted to top of lamp posts along Village Way and directly outside in Falmer Road. Electric cable being burried.
Re-tarmaccing of road in progress.
Some strange digging works have taken place in the north west corner, (bottom left as you look from Village Way).
Footpaths on both sides of Village Way ready for top course of tarmac.
Entrance to Village Way is four lanes, diminishing to two after the entrance to the coach park.

got caught in that f***ing Jam yesterday coming off A27 trying to get to The Nuffield at Woodingdean at 2 oclock. Took me 25 minutes to get from entrance to Sussex Uni to past the falmer Pond turn off

Great stuff, when they finish stadiums they have to have trails prior to opening si they can test everything works and things don't fall off when walked over.

Is the second photo them testing the road by holding back traffic, looks like a recreation of a match day.

If you do speak to any of the workers ,it would be interesting to know if they use the Falmer Farm shop and if the Falmer area has benifited already from the economic trickle down effect from building a community stadium.

Pondering the significance of the ball of string and the candle in the foreground of Photo 2? ???

Fine work as always JS

Is it an aerosol for marking the road and the string is for creating straight lines for this purpose. Or a workman wants to be the first to spray BHA or CPFC are CRAP>
