Was brilliant today. Looked in tears and being consoled by Danny before going off. Hope not a recurrence of the stress fracture injury :-(

He was feeling his knee when he first got treatment. The good news was he was out on the pitch celebrating at the end of the game and although he was limping slightly I couldn’t see any ice packs etc on his leg. If it was a suspected stress fracture I would imagine he’d had been in a protective boot at the very least (or out walking around the pitch at all).

It looked like the muscle above his knee.

I saw him do it, was really strange. He flicked a dead ball back to a City player for their free kick with the outside of his boot and immediately started limping.

Then went down a couple of times for treatment. I'm guessing he tweaked a knee ligament or muscle. Looked completely innocuous which is always a bit worrying ???

Thought the same. Always a worry when it’s not an impact injury.

Yeah it was only on the concourse after we saw it was when he flicked the ball, at the time I thought it was the tackle he made

There is a page on the FA England Football website that lists updates to the various squads. No mention of Hinshelwood withdrawing so far, which is good news.
Confirmation from the FA that Hinshelwood has, indeed, withdrawn form the U-21 squad.

On the other side of the coin, Kamari Doyle has been called up to the England U-20 (Elite League) squad.
