Are any of you aware of this song. The back story is that she has split from her manager and record company over it and it has blown up online.

For me though there is possibly something fishy about it. Nothing has ever infected my social media streams like this. I am seeing it two or three times in a minute log scroll on FB.

The algorithm surely doesn't work that well for a supposed indie artist, sticking it to the man?

As songs go it's also pretty shit to my ears but then I am no yoof.

Have never heard it or of it. I’m not on Facebook etc, so could be some kind of surreptitious viral advertising campaign. We know the algorithms are there to be gamed.

I like it. Don't agree with all the sentiments but must strike a chord with a lot of people - it's a pretty bleak take on a pretty bleak world. As for all the 'dropped by the management' stuff, seems suspiciously like a good way of getting more publicity for being 'controversial'.
